Goa would host nine matches of the event, including one quarter-final.The tournament is scheduled to begin on October 6. Chief Secretary Dharmendra Sharma will chair the committee.A government spokesperson said the committee has been formed “to provide the required executive decision-making, to meet all the requirements and obligations of being a host city for the event.”The venue for the matches is Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Fatorda, South Goa.last_img
